About
Rocco's Pizza of York Springs
All About Our Restaurant
Rocco's Pizza of York Springs was born in 1981 by brothers Lorenzo and Mike DeVita, sons of immigrant parents who moved to the U.S. in 1971 when Lorenzo was 14 years old. The business, established in East Berlin, was named after Lorenzo's father, Rocco. Lorenzo had worked in the pizza business for several years when he was bit by the entrepreneurial bug.
After two years in business together, the DeVita brothers decided to open up another restaurant. Mike kept the East Berlin location and Lorenzo opened Rocco's Pizza of York Springs in an old Phillips 66 service station in York Springs where the store still sits along Carlisle Pike (Hwy. 94). Each restaurant operates independently.
